FireEye and Nuvias sign pan-European distribution agreement

Intelligence-led US-based cybersecurity company FireEye and value-added distributor Nuvias have signed a pan-European distribution agreement. The initial focus will be markets in the UK and Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and the Netherlands; however, the aim is for distribution to eventually cover the entirety of Europe.

Other Nuvias partners include Fortinet, Arbor Networks, Barracuda, Check Point, Kaspersky Lab, Juniper Networks, HID Global, WatchGuard Technologies, Malwarebytes and VASCO.

“As the threat landscape has evolved, it’s become crucial to have strong combination of technology, expertise and intelligence. With FireEye we can now cover each of these areas comprehensively,” said Ian Kilpatrick, EVP Cyber Security of Nuvias. “One of Nuvias’ main goals for security is to help customers identify unseen threats with frontline intelligence and technology to help organisations maximise security investments. By offering products like FireEye Helix we’re in a great position to deliver this.”

Nuvias describes itself as the fastest-growing distributor in Europe, and was created through the acquisition of three major IT distributors – Wickhill, Zycko and Siphon – focused on the distribution of security, storage and other data-related solutions.

According to Jason Ellis, VP of EMEA Channels at FireEye, “The partnership strengthens our focus on the channel and offers us a huge opportunity for incremental growth.”
